48-Hour Film Project, Minneapolis – Best Film Nomination! (06-24-2014)
1+1 Productions ESCAPEMENT, our 48-Hour Film Project entry, was just nominated for BEST PICTURE in Minneapolis! Very strange piece, and possibly a long-shot for the win… but really cool!
The trailer contains a hauntingly beautiful song by Holly Henry.
1+1 Productions was a team building exercise for the KARE 11 Marketing department. I use the 48-Hour Film competition as a way to show staff what can be done in 48 hours, let them stretch their creative abilities outside of news and to meet and work with outside agencies, locations and talent that we can utilize in the future for station projects.
