2019 NYC Midnight Screenwriting Challenge Finalist! (07-17-2019) YES! Just found out that I made it through the second round and into the FINALS for the 2019 NYC Midnight Screenwriting Challenge! Started with over 1700 writers from literally around the world… made it through the first round (1st place in my heat) where they cut it

My team scored 18 Producer Nominations / 8 Nominated Spots / 5 Categories! We ended up with 3 wins… and a total of TEN Emmy’s for the team.

Between WWBT & WTVR (our competitor), no other city (big or small) in the country had more Promax Gold wins than… RICHMOND.

Flatteringly labeled one of the “Very Best Creative Minds in Television Today”, I helped lead a session on stage about how to get… “unstuck” creatively.

My department took home BOTH awards for Station Promotion this year… the FIRST year that AP has offered the category! NBC12 / WWBT was awarded both first and second place awards.

I’ve been lucky enough to be invited to the top TV station in Tbilisi… to consult and help out with their marketing efforts.

TWO Nominations for KTVU this year, and I am honored to be on both. We received the ONLY nominations for the entire region for the Campaign category!

Out of over 500 Submissions in 2017, Erik Candiani’s “Tribal” script made the top 10.
